AdBlue® name and production are registered by the German Automotive Association (VDA). A product without a VDA certificate is not AdBlue®.
VDA AdBlue – Quality Management System for Organizations in the Production and Distribution Chain. It is the guarantee of the quality of the product. VDA periodically audits the companies it licenses and checks the compliance of the company and the product with the ISO 22241 standard.
For the Selective Catalytic Reduction System called SCR to function well, AdBlue must comply with the ISO 22241 standard. This standard is published as a written booklet.
